Sean Downey

President, Americas & Global Partners, Google

As President of Americas & Global Partners at Google, Sean leads the company’s advertising business in North and South America. Before this role he served as the Vice President of the Google Marketing Platform for the Americas, helping marketers, agencies and partners leverage data and technology to advance their digital marketing maturity and buy and measure media more efficiently.

Prior to joining Google in 2008, Sean was the Vice President of Buy Side Sales at DoubleClick, where he led their agency and advertiser business. Sean has also worked in various ad technology and software startups, and over the course of his career has brought various evolving advertising technologies to market such as rich media and programmatic buying and analytics.

Sean earned his BS in Business Administration from the State University of New York College at Fredonia. He lives in the Greater Boston area where he is raising three children.

Paul Roetzer

Founder and CEO of SmarterX and Marketing AI Institute

Paul Roetzer is founder and CEO of SmarterX and Marketing AI Institute; co-author of Marketing Artificial Intelligence: AI, Marketing and the Future of Business; host of The Artificial Intelligence Show podcast; and creator of the Marketing AI Conference (MAICON). Roetzer is focused on making AI approachable and actionable for marketers and business leaders. A graduate of Ohio University’s E.W. Scripps School of Journalism, Roetzer has consulted for hundreds of organizations, from startups to Fortune 500 companies. Previously, he was founder and CEO of PR 20/20, a digital marketing agency that he sold in 2021.

Simon Whitcombe

VP, Global Business Group, North America, Meta

Simon Whitcombe, VP, Global Business Group, North America leads Meta’s sales organization in the United States and Canada. His teams of marketing experts work with the most influential advertisers and agencies in North America. His organization lives at the front of innovation, taking a consultative approach to driving growth and performance across Facebook, Instagram, Messenger, WhatsApp, and Marketplace.

Since joining Meta in 2012, Simon has held several leadership positions within the company, including overseeing verticals such as Gaming, Ecomm, Entertainment, Travel, Auto, Financial Services, Technology industries, and the Amazon companies.

Simon has experience with, and a deep understanding of, the digital ads ecosystem. One of his superpowers is simplifying complex technical concepts and recommendations that help companies increase their profitable growth. He helps brands form long-lasting connections with their customers, beginning with delightful and seamless discovery experiences

Daniel Ryback

Senior Director of Experience Design & Innovation, Marriott

Daniel Ryback, an experienced design and innovation leader, uses design thinking and AI to help the world’s most iconic brands connect with their customers.  With a career spanning both agencies and global brands—from McDonald’s to Marriott—Daniel has helped dozens of organizations reimagine the customer journey by translating data, technology, and creativity into more seamless, human experiences.  In this keynote, he shares practical ways brands can apply design thinking and AI to unlock immediate customer experience gains—focusing on fast, high-impact opportunities that require no new tools or major investments.

Nicolle Pangis

Vice President, Netflix

Nicolle Pangis is a strategic advertising executive and board director with a reputation for building cutting-edge digital companies in programmatic video and television. Nicolle is the Vice President of Advertising at Netflix, supporting the US and Canada advertising strategy, measurement, operations and sales team building Netflix’s ads business. Formerly the Chief Executive Officer of Ampersand (owned by Comcast, Charter, and Cox Communications) and executive at several WPP companies, Nicolle has a reputation for leveraging data and building technology platforms to create advanced media and SAAS technology businesses. She was previously an Independent Board Director at Madhive, having been brought on after a $300M investment by Goldman Sachs in June 2023 to help guide the strategic vision of the company. After taking the helm at Ampersand in 2018, Nicolle transformed the company into one of the industry’s most substantial advanced television players, capturing 75% of the addressable television market footprint in the US within a handful of years. Previously, Nicolle held roles at GroupM (Global Chief Operating Officer of the Technology, Data and Services Division), Xaxis (Global Chief Operating Officer and Global Chief Revenue Officer), and 24/7 Real Media and 24/7 Real Media Europe (President). Nicolle earned her MBA in Strategic Management and Marketing from Rutgers University and completed her BS in Communication with an English minor from Boston University.

Shenan Reed

Global Chief Media Officer, General Motors

Shenan Reed was appointed global chief media officer in January 2024. As GM’s global chief media officer, Shenan will be responsible for building a leading-edge global media team that accelerates GM’s media approach into the future. Reed joined GM from L’Oréal where she was senior vice president and head of Media and was responsible for elevating the quality of consumer connections for the L’Oréal USA brands. She has over 20 years’ experience in the digital media, advertising, analytics, and entrepreneurial space and is a highly sought-after thought leader, regularly presenting at major advertising and digital media industry conferences. Her insights and opinions have been cited in The New York Times, The Wall Street Journal, AdAge, MediaPost, Huffington Post, AdWeek and Women’s Wear Daily. Her deep understanding of advertising, media and analytics has mandated her inclusion on several advisory boards including Pinterest, ANA Media Council, ANA Board, MMA, IAB, VOX, SeeHer and others. She previously led the GSK and Verizon Power of One solutions for Publicis and lead the L’Oréal business and Digital Practice at Wavemaker. Prior to her tenure at Wavemaker, Shenan founded the digital marketing agency Morpheus Media, which became renowned for its work with premier luxury, fashion and retail clients. Over the course of her career, Shenan has also worked across various outlets and brands including The New York Times, Neiman Marcus, LVMH, Net-A-Porter, Lord & Taylor, Tiffany & Co., Chanel, A&E Networks, Vimeo, IFC, Sundance and The Economist. A strong advocate for developing the next generation of female leaders in her industry, Shenan was a 2023 212NYC Thought Leadership Honoree and selected by AWNY as a Changing the Game Winner in 2016 and an AWNY Working Mother of the Year Honoree 2015. She has been a judge for the Stevie Awards for Women in Business as well as an award recipient. and proudly serves on the Board of Trustees for the Miss America Organization. Shenan resides in Bronxville, New York with her husband, two children and their beagle Pebbles, named for the Flintstones character who grows up to be an advertising executive.

Lauren is the Head of Chase Media Solutions, where she leads the development and execution of a dual-sided media platform that strategically connects brands with Chase’s 85 million customers. Under her leadership, Chase Media Solutions delivers innovative solutions that drive measurable value for both consumers and merchant partners, fostering meaningful engagement and accelerating sales growth for brands. With over 15 years of senior leadership experience spanning media, advertising, and technology, Lauren has held pivotal roles at globally recognized organizations including Meta, Roblox, VEVO, and Viacom. At Chase, she oversees the Go-To-Market organization, ensuring that business strategies are seamlessly integrated with the company’s broader objectives and vision. Lauren is recognized for her ability to build high-performing teams, drive transformational growth, and deliver results in dynamic, fast-paced environments.
